Matching Gifts (Double the power of your gift.)
What is a matching gift?
Many companies encourage philanthropy by matching their employees’ gifts to 501 (c)(3) non-profits like the PACA Alumni Foundation. Most match the gift dollar for dollar, and some will even double or triple the amount. Participating companies may also recognize donations made by retirees and/or spouses of employees. Generally, a matching gift will go toward the same program as your donation unless your company’s policy requires otherwise.
Will my company match my gift?
To find out if your company has a matching gift program, please inquire with your company’s human resources department or community relations office.
How does it work?
Some companies require the employee to complete a Matching Gift Form, usually available from personnel or human resources. Other companies ask their employees to submit the request online. If your company requires a paper form, complete your portion and send it to the Foundation. We will do the rest!
